Beautiful skin under the sun: how to take care of your skin when on holiday

 

We all love a good holiday relaxing by the pool, soaking up the sun and having the only important decision of the day being where to take your pick for dinner. However, there can also be a downside to what happens to our skin whilst we’re away. We’ve compiled a list below of our top tips and product recommendations to help you take care of your skin should you face any problems whilst away.

1)   Sunburn

Sunburn is caused by overexposure to the sun’s UV rays. It’s one of the most common travel problems whilst on holiday. The best way to try and protect your skin from burning is to always apply sunscreen 15 minutes before heading out into the sun. Always try to make sure that your sunscreen has a minimum SPF of 30.
